Fun in Prague · Křižovnické náměstí, Old Town
A two-hour guided tour that meets at the Old Town end of Charles Bridge, takes the tram up to the castle and walks you through its courtyards, St Vitus Cathedral, St George's Basilica and the Royal Garden. Book the option with interior tickets if you want to go inside.

Fun in Prague meets at Křižovnické náměstí, the square at the Old Town end of Charles Bridge, so the bridge is your starting line. The group rides the tram through the Lesser Town and up to the Castle District, with the tram ticket included, and spends the rest of the two hours in the castle: the courtyards, St Vitus Cathedral, St George's Basilica, the Old Royal Palace and the Royal Garden, plus the city view.
The key choice is the option. The cheapest one, from about $28, is the guided tour of the grounds, which are free to walk; the interiors need a ticket. The “with Interior Ticket” options add the entrance tickets, so pick one of those if you want to go inside St Vitus and the palace (official castle tickets). Tours run in English, German, Spanish, French and Russian. Guests report Golden Lane is not part of the route.
Two more caveats. Prague Castle closes areas at short notice for state events, and the operator says it cannot guarantee access to every building. And one guest reports the time ran out in the town, so the guide handed over the tickets at the castle entrance and left; when you book, check whether your slot covers the interiors with the guide. Small groups are common, and guests praise guides by name.

★★★★★The tour was great! Ross was fantastic - very informative, very clear and also funny!
★★★★★A fantastic experience, Ross was incredibly knowledgable and explained in great detail the history of the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and the St. Vitus Cathedral. Years of experience, very attentive and gave lots of tips around the city.
★★★★★There were only three of us on the German-language tour, so Luba took a lot of time for us and explained everything to us in detail and also gave us tips for our stay. A very knowledgeable, friendly, and relaxed guide who enjoys what she does. Simply top-notch.
